meet yoki: smart pekingese doggy

I've read somewhere that pekingese are the 7th dumbest dog breed out there. I like to think otherwise. Meet Yoki, my aunt's purebred pekingese dog who's super smart. She literally has around 30+ toys--Mr.Moo, lion, tootsie roll, lollipop etcetc-- that she can recognize and retrieve upon command. And she's also "bilingual," able to understand commands in both english and chinese (teo chew) =)

Annotations complete. A visual look at some general anatomy of quadrapedal mammels, applied to drawings and animation. Why do i use Non-existant, mythical creatures? Well this isnt a guide on a specific creature's anatomy. Anatomy differs from creature to creature, even between breeds of a species like dogs and horses, and its very much encouraged that you go look at them yourselves and glean what you need. What i've done here, is taken what i've learnt from studying thousands of horses, dogs, big cats and other creatures, applied them to and formed my own creatures to use as a generalised example. With a healthy knowledge of a species' general anatomy, you can then start to play around with its limitations and make your characters more believable. Akitas are most striking and impressive creatures with an attitude of nobility and an appearance of strength and power. Their most noticeable physical characteristic is a large, bear-like head with erect, triangular ears set at a slight angle following the arch of the neck. They have thick, stand-offish coats, and tight cat feet, well knuckled up. Their tails curl over the top of the back in a graceful sweep down the loin, into a gentle curl, or into a double curl. Their colors are rich and clear, like paint on a canvas. Mature males measure at least 25 inches at the withers and weigh more than 100 pounds. Mature females measure at least 23 inches and weigh approximately 80 pounds. Recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1973, the Akita is a rather new breed in the United States.
